The mud buildings with murals, with the play of light and wind, lawns and lily ponds and the tree lined avenues have a distinct architectural style, the hallmark of which is beauty and simplicity.
The school is set up in an organic farm. The classrooms are spacious, flooded with light, air and energy.
The Primary School Building
The open-air amphitheatre is the hub of the school, where the children come together every morning for their circle time and performances; It was here that we made our ‘Aarambham’ by witnessing two beautiful rainbows.Little caves, tunnels, hide outs and classrooms which are more outdoor than indoor with spaces to look out everywhere. What meets the eye when you look outside are the Amla trees, sheep grazing and the endless blue skies…And a river of knowledge runs through the school like a life force connecting all the spaces together.
Middle and High School Building
The Middle and High School building stands tall and wide with its sprawling lawns , spacious class rooms, laboratories, Art and a Bothmer Studio. The Library is the pride of the building spreading over two floors with a beautiful winding staircase connecting both the spaces. Large windows and corridor spaces spreading into the outdoors invites nature into the building. The building has a distinct architectural style made of rammed earth and mud block.
Sports
As living beings, it is our basic instinct to move. Movement, exercise and play gives us a sense of freedom, a feeling of lightness and a greater engagement with the physical and social world around us. When we move, we are constantly navigating through the forces and the space around us. Universally, this space around us has a 'quality' and 'quantity' to it.
The school children enjoy vast play grounds and open play areas, football, volleyball, throwball, hockey and kho kho courts, athletic tracks, longjump, discuss, javelin and shot put pits, purpose built obstacle course and tracks around the farm for long distance running.
Labs
The school has three state of the art fully equipped Science laboratories in the Middle and High School building. The labs are designed with space, light and safety in mind and serve as units to build curiosity and wonder through experiments and exploration. The labs are built and equipped to meet the IGCSE and A Level standards of the Board
