We are artists, scientists, and story tellers who see every child as a whole.
We strive for a more humane society, and know that education can heal.
We work with earthly and cosmic forces to manifest goodness, beauty, and truth.

We are Waldorf Teachers.

Sangam means ‘confluence’ in Sanskrit: a meeting point and encounter.

The Sangam conference will weave together keynote presentations, subject & grade-specific mentoring,
artistic training, presentation of papers, networking opportunities, and cultural events.

Discover new ideas. Deepen your understanding. Develop your skills and approaches.
Work and play with inspirational colleagues and teachers from India and Europe.

is a collaboration between Indian Waldorf Schools:
Yellow Train, Bangalore Steiner School, Swadhaa and ‘The Modern Teacher: Education as Art’, led by Sven Saar and Alan Swindell.

* What is an Educational Conference without Research and Paper Presentations?

" Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose." - Zora Neale Hurston

Research Paper Invitations from Teachers:

Every teacher conducts hands-on, action-based, practical research in the classroom each day, with or without consciousness. Here is an opportunity for you to consolidate your observation, reflections, thoughts and learning into an article, conference paper, case study, survey, research paper, or any form of academic writing. Themes may span the educational landscape, from mindfulness, creative discipline, classroom culture, to assessments, trauma-informed practices, teacher well-being, and everything that impacts the child, the teacher, the school, and the community.
