The Programme
The thread of holistic and wholesome education that keeps the ‘whole child’ at the heart of it continues all the way till the child leaves the school. The High School programme (Grades 8-12) is crafted with the growing adolescent and their needs at the heart of it. The curriculum is robust, well-rounded, and wholesome, encompassing an array of offering — academics, social and cultural engagements, life skills, overall growth and development, and exposure to the world beyond. The programme’s richness lies in its ability to demand, challenge, stimulate, nourish, and shape the human becoming.
Grade 8 - The Transition
Grade 8 is a transitional year from the Waldorf pedagogy of Grades 1–7 to our holistic high school programme. By the time they enter Grade 8, we witness the birth of the intellectual consciousness. Adopting the Cambridge curriculum, the academic programme is dedicated to preparing students to meet the rigour and intensity of the succeeding IGCSE years, and students meet the Achievement Test as a checkpoint. Offerings in humanities, art, theatre, music, and sport are amplified to challenge and grow their newly emerging capacities. The eighth graders look at their seniors in Grades 9–12 with awe, inspiration, and a deep longing to enter and take part in their world.
Grade 9 and 10 - The IGCSE Years
In Grades 9 and 10, now ready to embrace the full scope of the IGCSE programme, the student is challenged to think critically, engage in independent inquiry, and apply their knowledge across a robust selection of subjects. As they deepen their academic engagement, they also build essential skills and qualities—analysis, problem-solving, articulation, research, responsibility and self-discipline. Alongside academics, their participation in extracurricular activities remains integral, allowing them to explore their interests, hone their skills, and deepen their creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. It is truly a phase of exploration, discovery, and growth—laying the groundwork for their final years in school, and shaping the direction they will take in the world outside.
Grade 11 and 12 - Senior School
Senior School marks a new beginning. The completion of the IGCSE exams at the end of Year 10 signifies the end of a significant phase of high school. Students must then reapply to our carefully curated Senior School programme. Admission is based on a clear alignment with its vision and expectations, the readiness to commit to their chosen pathway, a capacity for hard work, and an appreciation for its holistic approach. While mainstream schooling brings in a singular academic focus towards the pursuit of higher education, our approach remains centred on the whole human being.
For students who wish to pursue an academically rigorous pathway, we offer Cambridge International A Levels (IALs). This course encourages students to engage deeply with subject content while developing in-depth subject knowledge, independent thinking, application and evaluation, logical argumentation, and clear communication.
Senior School now also offers the Alternative Stream through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), reflecting our commitment to recognising the diverse ways in which young people learn and grow. Some students may benefit from a lighter academic load that better supports their individual learning needs, while others may be deeply committed to pursuits such as sport, the arts, or other programmes that demand sustained time and focus. In keeping with our belief in humanising education, this pathway enables students to remain fully engaged in the life of Senior School while pursuing an approach that may be better aligned with their interests, growth, and expression. Students completing this stream continue to have access to a wide range of post-school pathways, including higher-education and vocational opportunities in India and abroad.
Regardless of the pathway they pursue, Grade 11 and 12 students continue to share common classes, class circles, extracurriculars, trips, internships, and the wider life of Senior School, ensuring they remain as one cohesive class community.
Beyond Academics
In a world that reduces high school years to mere examinations and grades, we hold the firm belief that true learning extends beyond academics, and should be a vibrant, immersive experience that nurtures the whole human being. Our curriculum is designed to reflect this, with offerings in a wide range of areas designed to nurture each student’s intellectual curiosity, artistic expression, and personal growth — cultivating creativity, resilience, social responsibility, a deep connection to the world within themselves, and the world outside.

The World Inside and The World Outside
(for Grades 11 and 12)
Is the world inside really bigger than the world outside?
For students aged 17-18, the task is to enable them to explore the unknown.
It is essential to give them the space to grapple with profound questions about meaningful experiences, guiding them toward their own answers.
‘The World Inside’ and ‘The World Outside’ are circles of dialogue, inquiry, and learning, where themes of importance are probed, examined and challenged.
‘The World Inside’ centres on enquiry into selfhood - identity, gender, sexuality, relationships, and life’s large questions - success, love, meaning, purpose, religion and faith.
‘The World Outside’ engages with social, economic, political, and historical themes to encourage thoughtful engagement with the outside world.
Beyond School
As young adults near the end of their schooling journey, soon to step out of the familiar school walls and take off into the next chapter of their lives, it becomes essential for them to begin engaging more deeply with the outside world. Through exploring, examining, challenging, participating, initiating, overcoming, and gathering core experiences, they begin to shape their identities, and strengthen their sense of self. Our upper school programme extends beyond the school grounds, empowering students to grow into well-rounded individuals ready to contribute with confidence and purpose.
“It takes courage…to endure the sharp pains of self discovery rather than choose to take the dull pain of unconsciousness that would last the rest of our lives.”
–Marianne Williamson.

Every Child - Learning Support
The Every Child programme is designed to identify learning needs and provide tailored support, including classroom assistance and individualized plans. Cambridge offers various access arrangements for differently-abled learners, and our learning support team works with the children, a team of psychologists, and the Cambridge Exams Office, to offer a dedicated programme that supports them with their studies.
Center for Well-Being
Center for Well-Being is a dedicated counselling space with a qualified psychologist, created to care for adolescents and promote mental health and well-being. Available throughout the school year, it offers a safe holding space and support for any student in need. In addition to one-on-one sessions, the center also provides psychoeducation in the form of well-being circles in classrooms.
College Advisory
The College Advisory department provides direction, support and guidance to the graduating students towards their higher education. In Grades 9 and 10, this takes the form of helping students select their field of study for the succeeding IALs. In senior school, it shifts to college advisory, where students receive individualized counseling on choosing a university and program best suited to their goals, needs and aspirations. The department holds an annual conclave where over 60 universities visit the campus to engage with students and present their range of courses.
